Urban Leads began in our garage in 2021 with a straightforward idea: make practical, dependable dog leads locally, using quality Australian-made rope.
We’re a small family business based in Shellharbour, NSW. Life has become busier as our family has grown, but Urban Leads has continued making dog leads for owners who value local production, straightforward design and gear made for genuine everyday use.
Every Urban Lead is handmade using double-braided polyester rope produced in Australia. Our range includes classic clip leads for everyday walking, slip leads for convenient handling, long lines for recall practice and matching rope slip collars.
We offer lightweight 6mm options and sturdier 8mm options so owners can choose a lead that suits their dog and preferred handling feel. Our leads are also machine washable, because real walks often involve sand, mud and wet paws.
